All 49 books in the Alpha Stars series, covering the letters of the alphabet (A-Z), plus the additional two- and three-letter graphemes traditionally taught up to the end of Letters and Sounds Phase 3 (e.g. ch, th, igh).
Bright and engaging, these books are tools to get children hearing the sound (“phoneme”) in a spoken word and then seeing the letter (“grapheme”) in the written word, building their awareness of the simple letter and sound links (“GPCs”).
They can also be used to introduce letter names (once children have learnt their letter sounds) and to teach children the correct formation of each letter in its lower case form.
