Designed for users of the Unlocking Letters and Sounds programme, this easy-buy pack forms a separate collection of Reading Stars Achieve Phonics books in your school i.e. age-appropriate fully decodable books for weaker readers in KS2/KS3 who are still securing their phonics knowledge.
(Indeed, no one wants these learners to be put off reading by seeing the same “little kid books” they/their friends recognise from KS1. Plus, these books are specially designed to support weaker readers, so should really propel them forward.)
The pack contains one copy of every Reading Stars Achieve Phonics title (96 books in total, covering Phases 2 to 5).
All 96 titles can be used for independent reading – and then preprepared guided reading lesson plans for 44 of the titles are on the ULS platform, so you can use those titles to do some guided reading with your weaker readers too.
